Deliverables

We provided strategy and presentation materials for donor solicitation for both private meetings and public presentations. This included an extensive scripted slideshow that detailed the need for a new library, the value of our library services, and showcased plans and schematic designs from the architectural firm. The slideshow is adapted for both presentation and as website material. We also focused on sustainability and eco-awareness by implementing a creative use of private webpages that are used in place of expensive, often discarded printed materials as a follow up to the donor request. These pages are customizable to each potential donor and reinforce the Library’s commitment to prudent use of funds and resources.

We also developed the branding, essential print collateral, Friends of the Capitola Library website, in memorial donation capability, and the social media campaign strategy used in this Capital Campaign.

A team of fundraisers are still currently out seeking donations in the public phase of the campaign. The presentations are being met with great enthusiasm and the campaign is already at 170% of its original $410,000 goal!!! The public phase of the fundraising campaign began in 2018. Forest Design provided services for that phase as well, which included a redesign of the main website, e-news letters, essential print materials and strategy to extend the campaign to the general public. We are so proud to be working on this important community project and are thrilled with the success of this campaign.
