Friends of the Capitola Branch Library

Capital campaign to raise $410,000 to help build a new community library in Capitola CA.

We are providing strategy and presentation materials for donor solicitation for both private meetings and public presentations. This includes an extensive scripted slideshow that details the need for a new library, the value of our library services, and showcases plans and schematic designs from the architectural firm. The slideshow is adapted for both presentation and as a website material.  We are also focusing on sustainability and eco-awareness by implementing a creative use of private webpages that are used in place of expensive, often discarded printed materials as a follow up to the donor request. These pages are customizable to each potential donor and reinforce the Library’s commitment to prudent use of funds and resources.

We have also developed the branding, essential print collateral and the social media campaign strategy used in this Capital Campaign.

The Client

The Friends of the Capitola Branch Library is raising funds to provide enhancements to the new Capitola Library which is scheduled to begin construction in 2018. Forest Design has been integral in providing strategy and materials to assist with the fundraising campaign.

A team of fundraisers are currently out seeking donations in the quiet phase of the campaign. The presentations are being met with great enthusiasm and the campaign is already at 41% of its goal. The public phase of the fundraising campaign will begin in 2018. Forest Design will continue on providing services for that phase as well, which includes a redesign of the main website, e-news letters, essential print materials and strategy to extend the campaign to the general public.
